For a current Talladega County booking, recent admit, release entry, or booking photograph, begin with the Talladega County Sheriff's Office. Its two public offices serve different parts of the county, but both connect to the same county-centered booking system. Posted office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Emergency response is available around the clock. Call 911 for an emergency.

No separate booking-records number, booking-photo form, fee, or response deadline was published in the reviewed sheriff sources. The Metro Jail number shown by Talladega Police is 256-761-2000, but it should not be treated as a public-records line without confirmation. The Talladega County booking hub explains what details to collect before calling.

  • Just booked or now in county custody: search the official TCSO Citizen Connect roster, then call the north or south sheriff's office if the entry or photo is missing.
  • City police report: use Talladega Police, the Sylacauga Police Records Office, or Lincoln Police, based on the arresting agency. City police records and the county jail record are not the same document.
  • Released from the county jail: check the roster's Releases search or ask TCSO for the jail-register entry. A person may leave the current-custody list while a booking record still exists.
  • Court stage or case result: contact the Talladega County Circuit Clerk or use Alabama trial-court access. The court disposition, not the initial charge, records the outcome.
  • Serving an Alabama prison sentence: use the Alabama Department of Corrections inmate search. ADOC records concern sentenced state prisoners, not a fresh Metro Jail arrest.
  • Federal custody: search the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. FCI Talladega is federal and separate from the Talladega County Metro Jail.
  • Immigration detention: use the ICE Online Detainee Locator; it does not search people under age 18 or display custody photos.
